L ocated in historic Algiers (on the Westbank of New Orleans), Murray Henderson Funeral Home provides a unique funeral experience in one beautiful location. In our recently renovated facilities, a ceremony can be anything you wish: simple or elaborate, traditional or unique.
Our non-denominational ceremonial halls are suitable for services of all faiths, and offer families a truly inviting setting for funeral or memorial services. To assist in celebrating a life, we have available a pre-recorded music system, easels for collages or favorite portraits, LCD 52” monitor for screening personalized DVDs, and foyer tables to display personal items such as framed photographs, collection pieces and/or anything reflective of the person being honored.
For those interested in hosting a reception, our facility is equipped with a full service kitchen for your convenience. Outside catering arrangements can be facilitated through our very helpful staff.
The elegance of our casket room is the perfect setting for displaying the many styles of caskets we offer ranging in prices and finishes from metal to wood in an array of colors. A variety of full-size and keepsake urns can be selected from multiple catalogues exhibiting over 100 urns.
